Bali Pilates Retreat
11-16 June 2023
Ubud, Bali
6 days/5 nights
11-16 June 2023
We know Bali well... We have been doing retreats there since 2004!

The Retreat
The retreat is set in a beautiful and spacious venue amongst
the lush tropical hills of Bali surrounded by rice paddies. The venue is near Ubud which has been known for a long time as the cultural centre of Bali. Over the past few decades it has also developed into a popular place for health and well being.
This retreat offers you a chance to relax, replenish and rejuvenate in a serene retreat setting practicing Pilates and mindfulness, eating healthy food, relaxing and taking spa treatments.
It also provides the opportunity to experience the Balinese people and culture by enjoying other optional activities like a bike riding tour or cooking class or a jungle trek.
Previous experience in Pilates or mindfulness is not required, if you do have experience we wish to help your practice expand.

Getting there and away
To get to Bali you will take a flight to Denpasar. A transfer can be pre-arranged to pick you up from the airport and take you to the retreat which is approximately 2 hours drive.

Is this retreat for me?
The theme of this retreat is peace and reflection.
While there is plenty to keep you busy, we encourage you to try and truly retreat by limiting your social media use and work emails etc..and embrace this opportunity to really have time out...
The aim of this retreat is to increase the strength and well being of your body and mind.
This is not a type of bootcamp! We offer gentle precise (and challenging..) Pilates teaching and we will assist you and guide you each day as one within the group. The Pilates sessions are taken on the floor on mats with the added use of small props like therabands etc..
The mindfulness/meditation sessions are simple and practical techniques, they are non-religious. They can be taken sitting on a chair or the floor to suit.
The venue is set upon a hill and therefore there is a lot of walking to get from your room to the restaurant and Pilates Room, pool etc.. so a reasonable level fitness is required.
