The retreat is held in a beautiful spa venue in Ubud, set amongst the hills and surrounded by scenic rice fields, small villages, art and craft communities, ancient temples, palaces and rivers.

This holiday offers you an active experience of beautiful Bali. The daily schedule will keep you busy, with sufficient free time included. Anyone sixteen years or over with a basic fitness level will certainly enjoy all that we have to offer. No previous experience in any activities is required, however for those with experience in tennis or Pilates, a suitable program will be offered. The diving excursion is available to those who hold a current diving license.

Our retreats and holidays continue to please and remain a valuable and unique experience for those who have joined us in the past.

Accommodation

The accommodation is traditional Balinese style—very unique, comfortable and spacious. It includes either a double or two single beds, a bathroom, an outdoor sitting area, air conditioning, IDD phone, hairdryer and minibar.

Meals

All meals are provided and are freshly made traditional Balinese style with a modern twist. The daily breakfast is buffet style, while lunch and dinner is a set menu either vegetarian, chicken, or fish. Dessert, tea, and coffee are included.

Pilates & stretching

Two workshops will be offered on alternate days with three tennis workshops over the six days. Each session will run for two hours. The Pilates sessions will focus on core strength and the stretching covers safe, effective stretches for the whole body. You will learn new skills that you can take home and use.

Tennis

Three workshops will be offered on alternate days with two Pilates & stretch workshops over the six days. Each session will be approximately two hours plus travel time to the venue. The sessions are suitable for beginners and intermediate players. Anthony will teach stroke fundamentals and match play skills. Return home a new player!

Bike tour

Includes lunch at Kintamani Volcano and then an approximate three hour bike ride down hill through Balinese villages. The tour can cater for people with little experience if necessary. It is a lot of fun, not too strenuous and a great way to ‘experience’ Bali.

Walking tour

This walking tour of approximately 3 hours will take us through local village roads to see rice fields, community farms and cottage industries. "I had a wonderful time. You can meet the locals and come to understand the Balinese way of life in the country.

Snorkelling / diving tour

We will travel by bus and boat to beautiful Lembongan Island where we will have a snorkeling or diving tour. Equipment is provided and the tour is guided by local professionals. The underwater life is amazing. This is suitable for everyone including beginners, however you must be able to swim. Only people with a current diving license are able to dive.

Meditation

Most days at Kumara Sakti are started with a half hour meditation session. This is a time to learn simple relaxation and awareness techniques. It is not religious, but a valuable skill to help us in our personal awareness and development. This is suitable for everyone.

Spa treatments

There are many lovely spa treatments available for guests including, relaxation massage, Ayurvedic massage, body scrubs, foot massage, manicures and pedicures.

Suitable for all ages 16 years and over, no Pilates experience is required for this retreat. For those with experience, a suitable exercise program will be offered. The retreat maintains a calm relaxed, ‘do as you please’ vibe. You can choose to participate in everything or daydream all day!

Pilates & stretching

Each day Pilates and stretching will be offered over a two hour workshop. Pilates is designed to develop strong flexible muscles without bulk. In the sessions we will focus on core strength plus an overall dynamic routine for the whole body. The stretching covers safe, effective stretches for the whole body. Learn new skills that you can take home and use.
